gym for sale I'm on the fence about purchasing, please advise! ?
I received the statements returns for the last 8 years and have always experienced a loss due mainly bank loans and equipment depreciation. I was sure I'd sold the gym with zero liability. I have the income of this year and last year at this date and after have done a side by side comparison and assumed debt, I see still lose $ 750 – $ 1000 per month. The cost of $ 40,000 for gymnastics. Equipment is not new, but not bad. It needs a new paint job, better lighting and so on, but it will not make a huge difference. I think the opening of the gym with access 24 / 7 keycard bring in new members. How do you think possible, it is to turn around the gym? The region has several new restaurants, brand new gas station, etc. BUT Golds Gym has opened a branch last year to 5 miles. Any thoughts would be great! Thank you!
This would be a risky business to take. What type of clients do you try to get? Would you be competing against major gyms that have more to offer. With the economy where it is, people will look for ways to reduce expenses. Removal of Gymnastics Club may be the way some people do it.
